Dr. Karrie Shogren (KS UCEDD) Testifies Before U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging

On March 30, Dr. Karrie Shogren of the Kansas University Center on Developmental Disabilities will testify in Washington, DC before the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging at a briefing titled, "Guardianship and Alternatives: Protection and Empowerment." Dr. Shogren, Director of the Kansas UCEDD, will be testifying about her work on the Supported Decision-Making Inventory that she has developed and the relationship to guardianship. The briefing will be livestreamed at 10:00 AM ET.
The panel will be moderated by Robert P. Casey, Jr., Chairman, and Mike Braun, Ranking Member.
